Could Liveaboard Budget Has Luxury and Comfort?
You might think that with low price come low quality. Wait until you climb aboard into one of the ship and see it with your own eyes. On most of quality liveaboard budget, cheaper price means fewer passengers on board and less food & amenities to provide. Some Komodo liveaboard budget like Wisesa, M/V Mermaid I & II, and Duyung baru only cater to 6 – 8 passengers on one trip. For us, that means more privacy and plenty of spaces to relax in between diving and islands exploration. These low-cost liveaboard we mentioned even have ensuite bathrooms for every cabins. Each cabins are usually air conditioned (or fans at the very least), spring beds, and clean sheets.
Despite of the economical cost, these boats boast large indoor saloon and beautiful outdoor lounge. Both are fully functional for dining and definitely enjoyable for just relaxing in. And at such price, these are definitely the best you can get!
