There are heap of interesting things you can do while you are not busy riding the waves! During your stay at Mentawai surf resorts, you will receive at least one invitation to go fishing—with the locals or fellow travelers! Fishing with rods are generally the most common method of catching the fish, but sometimes the locals are using spear guns and this adds more excitement to the fun of fishing! It’s pretty easy, too.
